Job Description
Skills required:
- 2-4 years of experience
- Certificate in Draughting
- Relevant National Diploma, N5/N6 certification, or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with plate work design for underground mining machines, R&D projects
- Proficient in SolidWorks or Fusion 360
- Must have a good understanding of tolerances and be able to read drawings
- Assist Engineer with generating 2D and 3D drawings for mainly mechanical designs and relaying the information to the fabrication and machine shops
- Maintain and update drawing revisions, engineering change orders, and as-built documentation
- BOM generations
- Project improvements
- Updating old generation drawings & models
- Continuous improvement of the current operation & setup
