Job Description
Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is one of New Zealand’s leading privately owned civil contractors specialising in major earthworks and civil projects. The organisation employs 230 staff and operates a significant fleet of heavy machinery in the South Island.
New appointments are required for this growing company including:
A Drainlayer who can join our existing team who constructs underground infrastructure in subdivisions, large civil jobs, and irrigation projects. The role requires a current PGDB Drainlayer Qualification and/or a Level 3 or 4 National Certificate in Civil Infrastructure.
Although unqualified, the skilled hardworking Drainlayer will have a good knowledge to civil and urban drainage and be willing to train toward a qualification in drainage or similar. Excavator operating ability will be an advantage to the applicant.
