Job Description
Construction Drafter Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction plans based on design specifications
- Develop 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software
- Assist engineers and project managers in translating concepts into accurate technical drawings
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and project requirements
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
- Support project team with as-built drawings upon project completion
