The Delaware Department of Technology and Information (DTI), partnering with employment vendors, aims to address Delaware workforce needs by establishing an apprenticeship program targeting the State’s underemployed or unemployed workforce seeking to enter the technology support industry. The DTI Technology Apprentice Program (TAP) aims to provide training and experience to prepare participants for future career opportunities in state government IT positions. The Technology Apprentice role is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on learning and professional development in information technology. This role combines practical work experience with structured training to build foundational skills and enhance knowledge in providing IT support services to state government agencies.
