The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day upkeep of the cleanliness as set out in the cleaning schedule. These areas may include ward areas, clinical areas, and hospital corridors, also associated areas across the Braintree Community Hospital site. The post may require assisting with the patients meal and beverage service. The post is part of a team, working within an integrated Hotel Services department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer focused service.

Main duties of the job

• Work requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently and meet the needs of the wards/departments.
• Wards/Departments are maintained free of dust, dirt and moisture through the process of daily and periodic cleaning.
