Job Description
Full‑time temporary contract lasting 3 to 6 months.
All the important tasks we’ll trust you with:
Freight Category Management
- Responsible for freight and logistics category that includes land, ocean and air.
- Develops lane data analytics to understand cost, utilization and services levels/performance of the service providers.
- Understand cost drivers for lane by mode and ensures cost competitiveness across all modes of freight.
- Market tests freight cost by mode and utilization.
- Establishes and re‑negotiates freight contracts.
- Develop processes to validate freight cost and surcharges.
Carrier and Contract Administration
- Manage relationships with transportation carriers and service providers.
- Negotiate and oversee contracts in coordination with the General Manager.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in logistics operations.
