THRIVE Child Development Centre in Algoma invites applications for new Board members. This role combines governance with a commitment to improve lives of children through rehabilitation and development services. Directors meet monthly to oversee strategic initiatives and community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in monthly Board meetings held at the Centre
• Advocate for children's developmental needs in discussions
• Provide insight and expertise in various fields
• Dedicate time for Board preparation and engagement
• Ensure adherence to By-laws and Board policies
Requirements:
• Passion for child welfare and development
• Professional background in legal, finance, or marketing
• Willingness to support families served by THRIVE
