Director, Study Management at Astra Zeneca Overview We are seeking a Director, Study Management to lead high-impact study delivery that advances breakthrough medicines for people living with haematologic cancer. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain, and involves strategic leadership of a high-performing Study Management and Operations team across pivotal haematology studies. Key Responsibilities Line leadership and team growth – manage, develop and grow a team of approximately 15 SMO professionals. Capability building – ensure staff are trained, compliant, and equipped with current skills and tools. Project delivery excellence – allocate appropriately skilled personnel to study teams to meet time, quality and budget targets. Resource strategy and forecasting – collaborate with leadership to improve forecasting and balance portfolios.
