About us
No one should have to choose between their own safety and the safety of a beloved pet. Pet Refuge provides temporary shelter and care for pets affected by family violence, giving pets and their families the opportunity to escape abuse, find safety and start again - together. We work with Women's Refuge, NZ Police and other agencies providing a national service to keep pets safe until they can be reunited with their families.
