Scope of Position
Individual is responsible for histocompatibility laboratory compliance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards, quality assurance, development of laboratory processes, clinical protocols and budget preparation and monitoring. The histocompatibility laboratory operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides services to University Hospital, Ross Heart Hospital, The James Cancer Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Lifeline of Ohio Organ Procurement Organization.
Position Summary
The Director of the histocompatibility laboratory reports directly to the Administrative Director of the Comprehensive Transplant Center for business related activities and routinely collaborates with the Clinical Consultant for the histocompatibility laboratory.
