Department mission

Ensure the long-term viability, functionality, and maintenance of the City’s public buildings with a focus on sustainable development and improving citizens’ quality of life.

Responsibilities and goals associated with the position

Reporting to the Director General, the incumbent manages the activities of his or her department. He or she serves as a key strategic advisor to senior management on matters related to the operation, maintenance, and compliance with standards, as well as the expansion or reconstruction of all municipal buildings and public facilities. He or she is responsible for maintaining the performance of real estate assets with a focus on sustainable development.
