About the role
You will be responsible for specimen digitisation to support the Museum’s work within the Digital, Data and Informatics Theme. As a digitiser you will work directly with the rest of the Digitisation Team, museum collections, curatorial teams, Data Management Team to capture digital images of specimens and their associated data.
As a member of the Digitisation Team you will represent the museum in tours and official events. You will also get the opportunity to present your work, create digitisation content for social media and articles including blogs, datasets, and printed articles.
Role competencies:
Demonstrable experience in the field of natural sciences, or a strongly related discipline.
Demonstrable experience of collections digitisation, recuration or conservation projects (or relevant transferable experience).
