Job Description
**Waste Connections** is looking for a **Diesel Mechanic** for our truck fleet in **Sequim, WA.**
Schedule is **Monday – Friday**
Shift **9 AM- 5:30 PM** with occasional overtime.
Hourly Wage: **$29- 33 DOE**
Safety Sensitive Position: **Yes**
**Individuals with 3** to **5 + Years of Diesel Mechanic experience encouraged to apply!**
**RESPONSIBILITIES** **:**
+ Repairs include but are not limited to routine maintenance and repairing engine, chassis, and body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels, and tires.
+ Inspects equipment and/or trucks for condition, operations, parts and fluid levels, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs.
+ Knowledge of hydraulic repair is **REQUIRED** .
+ Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
