Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Leading a team of R&D Engineers
Formulate strategies or project proposals across department borders, cooperating with other department heads, programs etc
Focus on delivering new or upgrading existing products.
Monitors New pdt development from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
Implement emerging technologies and may determine how to map them into product development roadmaps. Keeps abreast of technical developments.
Compliance and Budgets monitoring
Preferred candidate profile
BE/BTECH - Mech or equivalent with 15 + years of experience in design & NPD/R&D.
SHOULD HAVE PATENTS
DFSS, GD&T, Statistical tools and methods, Minitab MUST
CAD (preferably Creo/Solidworks) and Machine Design, Mechanical Design
Simulations (FEA, DEM, CFD, Mold Flow etc)
Project management exposure- Milestones, Cost, Quality, Time
Data Analysis/Data Interpretation
