Prairie View A&M University, a proud Historically Black College and University (HBCU), is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Part-Time Grant Writer. This position plays a key role in securing external funding to support the university’s mission, strategic initiatives, student success, and community impact. The Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and cultivating relationships with foundations, corporations, and other potential funders.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant funding opportunities that align with the university’s priorities and programs.
Write, edit, and submit clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
