Job Description
Join Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. as a Development Blaster at the Red Chris Mine, Northern British Columbia. Experience a FIFO schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off while working with state-of-the-art technology.
In this position, you will report to the Shift Supervisor, focusing on the safe handling and application of explosives and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates ideally have 2-5 years of relevant underground mining experience and a valid Blaster's Ticket. Your role will be vital for operational efficiency and maintaining a culture of safety among teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and detonate explosives in accordance with safety protocols
• Conduct thorough inspections before and after blasts
• Maintain accurate explosive inventory logs
• Assemble and transport blasting materials safely
