Detox Unit Supervisor

Under the direction, and in consultation with the Nurse Practitioner and Management Team.

Position Overview:

• Engage in a working supervisor role; providing direct care
• Oversee and ensure that the highest standards of care for the patient’s holistic health needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment
• Model professional conduct
• Ensure policies and procedures are being followed
• Maintain a safe, well functioning care unit within the required health standards
• Integrate Aurora’s Purpose, Principles, and Philosophies into member’s care plan
• Promote a safe, respectful, team-friendly approach in the workplace
• Ensure all nursing staff are aware of and adhering to ARC’s DMU Policies, Procedures and Protocols
• Ensure infection control standards are met
• Ensure PHIA is adhered to
• Ensure patients are treated with respect and dignity
