Contract, on‑site Desktop Support Engineer L1 role based in Monaghan. The Desktop Support Engineer L1 will provide first‑line technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Perform basic hardware repairs and upgrades.
- Handle printer installation, configuration and support.
- Respond to support tickets, assist with software installations and updates.
- Escalate complex issues to higher‑level support when needed.
- Maintain asset inventories.
- Follow documented procedures.
- Deliver clear, courteous communication to end users.
