Design Manager - MEP

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept to construction stages.
• Review and validate design documents submitted by consultants and contractors (drawings specifications BOQs).
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and regulations (e.g. ASHRAE NFPA IEC local authorities).
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural elements to avoid clashes.
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g. architecture structure procurement) and external stakeholders (consultants contractors authorities).
• Manage design deliverables schedule to align with overall project timeline.
• Conduct value engineering and ensure cost-effective design solutions.
• Provide technical input during tendering and construction phases.
• Support site team during implementation including responding to RFIs reviewing shop drawings and resolving technical issues.
