Job Description
A busy, high-volume logistics operation in Lutterworth is looking for a Deputy Section Leader to join the day shift team. THIS IS IDEALLY AN IMMEDIATE START, ALTHOUGH THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WITH A NOTICE PERIOD WILL BE CONSIDERED.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader, Deputy Section Leader or Senior Warehouse Operative looking to step into a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced distribution environment. This is not a desk-based position. The successful candidate will be out on the warehouse floor, leading by example and keeping the operation moving.
The Role
The Deputy Section Leader will be the senior operational presence on shift, supporting the Section Manager by leading a team of around eight colleagues across warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on time while helping the team achieve productivity and service targets.
