Deputy Director, General Services works closely with the Director of the General Services Department to provide executive-level strategic support and drive initiatives to improve the core functions of the department. This position serves as a trusted advisor and helps to position the department to provide superior service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, fiscal and corporate social responsibility.

The position serves as the principal advisor to the Director in developing and monitoring operating and capital budgets; assisting in creating or modifying policies and procedures; as well as planning for and coordinating the operation and maintenance of WSSC Water’s support services facilities, fleet, and warehouse functions.
