Dental Assistant Job Summary

The primary objective of a dental assistant is to enhance the efficiency of the dental practice while providing high-quality, compassionate care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with various clinical procedures, handle sterilization, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene. A successful candidate is well-organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance : Supporting dentists during examinations and procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, root canals) by passing instruments and managing suction.
• Radiography : Taking and developing digital or traditional X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Patient Preparation : Greeting patients, seating them comfortably, and preparing them for their appointments.
