Essential Job Duties
Chairside Clinical Support
+ Assist dentists directly during complex medical and dental procedures.
+ Set up instrument trays and position dental tools for easy dentist access.
+ Select, mix, and place dental materials on tools or directly into patient mouths.
+ Fabricate temporary restorations and take custom impressions from initial moldings.
+ Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays.
Patient Care and Triage
+ Welcome, seat, and prepare patients for their upcoming treatment.
+ Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and updated dental charts.
+ Triage dental patients based on urgency and assist with emergency care.
+ Educate families on proper oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative recovery steps.
Records and Administration
+ Document all dental care and procedures instantly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
