Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Reefer Van Operation: Safely drive and operate a refrigerated truck, ensuring that temperature controls are correctly set and maintained throughout the journey to keep cargo at optimal conditions.
- Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the reefer truck and refrigeration unit, checking for issues related to the vehicle, cargo, and temperature settings.
- Temperature Monitoring: Regularly monitor the temperature of the cargo to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; take corrective action when needed if temperature deviates from the required range.
- Route Planning & Navigation: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
