Job Description:

Seeking a Data Center Technician to help support a network expansion project in Boydton, VA. This resource will need a blend of hands‑on technical skills, infrastructure knowledge, and project‑driven experience.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Network Fundamentals

  • Understanding of switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Familiarity with VLANs, trunking, routing basics, and IP addressing
  • Experience reading and updating network diagrams
  • CCNA, CompTIA A+ or Network+ is considered nice to have

    • Cabling & Physical Layer Work

  • Manage and maintain all Layer 1 physical cabling including installation, labeling, routing, testing and documentation of fiber and copper connections to ensure reliable, standards-compliant infrastructure across the data center
  • Running, terminating, and testing copper (Cat6/Cat6A) and fiber (SM/MM)
