Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for DC Dispatch Assistant Manager to join the team based in Stikland, Cape Town. The purpose of the role is to achieve operational excellence within the Dis-Chem Distribution Centres incorporating functions in the following areas: Order consolidation, Route planning, Dispatch both Local and Line-haul, Returns, Vehicle maintenance and in so doing ensure that both legal and customer requirements are met.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 - Matric or Senior Certificate
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 3 Years relevant experience in Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment
Advantageous
- Experience in the Retail/Pharmaceutical Supply Chain. Experience with SAP, EWM or other ERP systems.
