Job Description
Day Technician – SMP2 Electrical (UAEN)
Industry: Steel Manufacturing
Requirements:
- Diploma or Trade Certificate (ITI) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- 5 years of experience (Diploma holders) or 8 years of experience (Trade Certificate holders) in electrical maintenance within a steel plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of Steel Melting Plant (SMP) and Billet Casting operations.
- Hands-on experience with Medium Voltage Substations, Transformers, Switchgears, PLCs, Drives, Motors, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably SAP.
- Good understanding of maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
- UAE National candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize plant availability and reliability.
