Job Description
Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for MS SQL Server databases and operational support in production, including incident, problem, and service request handling.
- Perform investigations related to application and day-to-day business transaction related issues.
- Analyze and resolve database-related incidents within SLA commitments.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues and implement preventive actions.
- Work closely with application and middleware teams to troubleshoot end-to-end issues.
- Support database changes, deployments, and patching activities in coordination with change and release management processes.
