Job Description
The DBA supports the resilience, performance, and operational integrity of Marex’s multi‑platform database estate. Based in Singapore and reporting to the DBA Manager in London, the role administers, optimises, and manages the lifecycle of databases that underpin critical systems. Working within a globally distributed DBA team, the DBA delivers high‑quality database support across Development, UAT, and Production environments. The focus is on performance tuning and diagnosis, optimising SQL execution paths, managing capacity, and ensuring high‑availability configurations operate effectively in a 24/7 environment. The role also contributes to maintenance, patching, upgrades, automation, and cross‑platform initiatives to maintain consistency, reliability, and alignment to best practices across the group. All employees must understand and comply with Sarbanes‑Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.
