Overview
Contract: 1 year (renewal basis)
Location: Ang Mo Kio
Salary: Up to $5,800 (depending on experience) plus a fixed $200 monthly shift allowance for rotating shifts.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (standby required) or 12‑hour rotating shift (8 AM – 8 PM / 8 PM – 8 AM).
Responsibilities- Daily health monitoring of the production database system and data integrity checks.
- Database migration and performance monitoring.
- Periodical production patch and upgrade management.
- Automation and monitoring of large‑file transfers for archiving.
- Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly resolve service‑level impacting issues and conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Enforce security standards for databases.
- Stay current on database technology advancements to identify opportunities for fine‑tuning and optimization of databases and related infrastructure.
