Job Description
The unit of Molecular Pathology at the Department of Pathology and Molecular Pathology at the University Hospital Zurich, is a leading unit for developments in precision medicine including tumor genomics and multi-omics data integration. The diagnostic analyses include numerous modern omics-methods and cutting edge technologies: Whole genome sequencing, bulk RNA sequencing, methylation array, digital pathology, panel sequencing. Our scientists analyze the raw data of these assays to create diagnostic reports, develop new methods and support research projects. Your main tasks
- Independent analysis, quality control, and interpretation of NGS and multi-omics data in a diagnostic setting
- Development, validation, and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines for routine molecular diagnostics
