Data Migration Test Manager Responsibilities
Leads data migration testing for a large‑scale transformation program moving a major Canadian bank off its existing Book of Record (BOR) onto the new target FNZ solution. Owns the end‑to‑end Data Migration Test Strategy in alignment with the overall program testing strategy. Defines migration test scope, phases, entry/exit criteria, and risk‑based prioritization. Partners with migration, architecture, and platform teams to validate data mappings, transformation rules, load logic and business outcomes. Oversees testing across end‑to‑end migration testing and the functional testing of migrated data in anticipation of dress rehearsals and cutover events. Defines and manages reconciliation, validation, and data integrity testing, including balances, positions, transactions, GLs, and regulatory outputs.
