Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join our expanding Data Centers (DC) Cloud regions. The role is a hands‑on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder. You will operate and maintain AWS DCs’ world‑class mechanical and electrical infrastructure following a process‑oriented approach and oversee facility operations, ensuring the implementation of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, encouraging a world‑class safety culture and owning safety initiatives and projects.
• Support electrical and mechanical equipment (UPS, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, ATS, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFDs, Transformers).
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical, emergency generator, HVAC and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
