A 221-bed acute care Level II Trauma Center in Sanford, FL is seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join its cardiovascular surgical program. The hospital offers the area's only full-service cardiovascular program, encompassing open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services.


The role. Reporting within the surgical services department, the CVOR RN functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team that includes surgeons, surgical technologists, and other providers. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, assume responsibility for patient preparation — including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification — and participate in briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocol processes in accordance with hospital policy.
