Overview

Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching and feedback to be successful in all they do. Identifies talent and engages in career discussions to support staffing and a diversified talent pipeline for both team members and leadership roles. Participates in candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and support growth within the organization. Accountable for area operations and financial results by overseeing the execution of corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity, ultimately owning budget line items in the P&L. Drives safety and compliance storewide, manages overall condition, and ensures adherence to all compliance procedures. Ensures Team Leaders and Leads provide guidance and daily work assignments, including any training needs.
