Job Description
The Customer Payments and Operations Intern will be mainly responsible for the timely and accurate processing of incoming cheques, electronic customer payments, western union payments and dealer terminations for the BMW Group Financial Services Retail Lease and Loan portfolio.
What awaits you?
- Generate daily NSF banking reports.
- Process and reconcile all returned items on a daily basis and investigate any discrepancies.
- Monitor post-dated cheque file and process all incoming cheques, western union payments, auction sales, refunds and outgoing cheques.
- Perform daily payment reconciliation for cheques, automated withdrawals, dealer terminations and auction sales between the Bank and Contract Management System.
- Monitor insurance premiums and account statuses and work with Insurance Providers on receiving pro‑rated refunds where applicable.
- Respond to ad‑hoc interdepartmental requests and inquiries.
