Use your knowledge and experience of Indigenous history, cultural practices, and views to support others in learning more about their own cultural practices and views.

Responsibilities

• Engage tenants in cultural and community activities.
• Provide a culturally safe and respectful space for tenants to engage with support staff and one another.
• Provide informal supportive counselling and crisis management.
• Provide opportunities for socialization.
• Foster a sense of safety and belonging within the building.
• Update the communication log daily at the end of each shift (Shared Folder).
• Enforce building policies and procedures.
• Appropriately respond to any behaviors that put the tenants, children, or others in the building at risk.
• Report lease violations to the Landlord.
• Cleaning and general maintenance of the community room.
• Cooking may be required at times.
