Job Description
Drive Oshawa's cultural initiatives as the Supervisor of Cultural Development. Lead a team to implement the Arts, Culture, and Heritage Plan while fostering community engagement and strategic projects.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Special Events and Culture Development, this role emphasizes supervisory leadership and stakeholder collaboration. The Supervisor will coach and develop the Cultural Development team while coordinating with the Cultural Leadership Council to enhance cultural projects that align with Council directives.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead implementation of the Arts, Culture and Heritage Plan • Mentor and oversee the Cultural Development team • Collaborate with stakeholders for strategic opportunities • Manage the Public Art Policy and related initiatives • Coordinate grant applications for funding cultural programs
