Job Description

We are currently accepting applications from CVRD CUPE Local 556 members only for a permanent full-time CSWM Operations Support Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of CSWM Operations, the primary responsibilities of this role include:


  • Supporting the administration, operation and maintenance of the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre (CVWMC), including landfill, diversion, leachate, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and equipment management. 

  • Coordinating scale operations and the HHW program to ensure consistent service delivery and accurate operational data. 

  • Managing financial and administrative processes, including cash reconciliation, payment systems, billing support, reporting and procurement. 

  • Coordinating operational support activities, contractor services, site permits, and minor capital projects to maintain efficient facility operations.
