Credit Controller

Location: Poole, Dorset (Office Based)

Salary: 28,500 - 29,870 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for effectively managing and controlling customer debt whilst delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries
• Manage account reconciliations, customer portals and EDI integrations
• Review new and existing customer accounts for creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms
• Manage and collect outstanding debt, prioritise accounts to maximise cash flow whilst minimising risk exposure
• Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly and efficiently
• Produce and distribute customer statements and overdue payment reminders
