Job Description
Our client, a well-established and successful company within the textile and manufacturing sector, is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing debtor accounts and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a debtor's book of approximately R5 million
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain strong debtor relationships
- Ensure customer orders are released within agreed credit terms
- Maintain and reconcile the age analysis
- Manage a large portfolio of COD customers (approximately 50% of sales)
- Process new credit applications, including credit bureau checks, trade reference checks and ensuring all required documentation is obtained
