GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As a Marine Crane Operator in Belford Ga, at Garney Construction, you will be responsible for performing heavy picks on a floating barge using a lattice boom or hydraulic crane. Crane operator may utilize various pile driving equipment. This role requires teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to safety on the water. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our marine services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Picking heavy pipe, miscellaneous equipment, setting spuds on the barge and driving sheets on land.
  • Perform daily inspections on equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the deck and equipment, including cleaning deck/barge, equipment and report any equipment malfunctions or repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and assist in safety drills. Ensure that safety equipment is accessible and in good condition.
