YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

:

Reporting to the Health & Safety General Supervisor, you will be part of the Health & Safety Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Develop and facilitate the implementation of Health and Safety Management tools (Job Hazard Analysis, Job Task Observation, Incident Declaration forms, Incident Investigation), as well as assisting in developing a Meadowbank Health & Safety Program
  • Initiate cross-departmental training to improve workflow and streamline the management of risks both at operational level and in larger scope such as H&S risks
  • Assist in management system audits as well as audits on the respect of Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) efforts
  • Review and optimize the utilization of H&S software and the standardization of document control and record management site-wide
