The Cost Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, products, or services by analyzing drawings, specifications, labor requirements, material costs, equipment costs, and subcontractor quotations. The role supports project planning, budgeting, bidding, and cost control to ensure profitable, competitive project execution, costs for performed works and cost to complete
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work.
Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost risks and opportunities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead expenses.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analyses.
Prepare cost reports and presentations for management and clients.
