The Opportunity
Altus Group is looking for a Cost Consultant specializing in Mechanical services to join our Development Advisory division at our Toronto office.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate quantities and/or measurements of specific building elements based upon drawings and/or other design documentation for detailed and/or conceptual estimates.
- Prepare cost estimates based on narratives, design brief and conceptual design drawings in both CIQS elemental and Uniformate estimates.
- Review pricing for change orders to ensure accurate cost estimations.
- Review and guide measurement of project statistics/functional areas.
- Ensure completion of project descriptions and assumptions.
- Complete design efficiency analysis, along with full trade and elemental take‑off.
