Cost Accountant

Full-time Accounting / Finance

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting or Management Accounting 35 years' Cost Accounting experience Must be able do conduct business in Afrikaans Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment Strong knowledge of: Bill of Materials (BOM) costing Inventory accounting Production variance analysis Standard costing Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ERP or accounting systems experience CIMA (completed or studying) will be advantageous Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and pricing models Analyse manufacturing costs and production variances Monitor inventory valuation and participate in stock counts Prepare weekly and monthly manufacturing cost reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve manufacturing processes Support audits and ensure accurate cost allocations across the business
