About the Opportunity
Our client is a law firm located in downtown Ottawa. They are looking for an experienced Corporate Law Clerk to join their team on a full‑time, permanent basis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Review, analyze and summarize basic minute books and corporate records and recommend a course of action to rectify any deficiencies and draft necessary documentation
- Preparing documents for filing Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Amendment, Articles of Continuance, Articles of Amalgamation, including drafting of share provisions
- Preparing and filing of extra‑provincial documents for all Provinces in Canada
- Preparing supporting documents for transaction including various corporate resolutions
