Responsibilities

• Develop supplier strategies and maintain strong supplier relationships while performing all duties and responsibilities within established procedures and standards of ethical conduct. Understand all aspects of the supplier business and supply chain, including cost, key business drivers, and opportunities for business process optimization.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions to determine the capability and availability of services, and to perform price benchmarking for potential future suppliers. Regularly obtain competitive quotes to identify cost reduction opportunities and doing market validations of current arrangements.
• Perform purchasing functions, including the preparation of supply agreement drafts and documents. Conduct supplier performance reviews in collaboration with coworkers using standard supplier evaluation tools, and report supplier performance to management as required.
