Job Description
Join our team as a detail-oriented Core Logging Geologist in Merritt, British Columbia. Support active drilling programs with systematic logging and comprehensive documentation each shift.
We are seeking a motivated individual to assist our drilling operations in Merritt. In this field-based role, you will log drill core, document lithology, and coordinate sample cutting in alignment with QA/QC standards. Strong attention to detail is required for this position as you will also maintain core storage and support geological reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Log drill core: lithology, alteration, extent
• Coordinate core cutting and sample bagging
• Photograph core trays and manage storage
• Document indicator minerals for target deposits
• Conduct downhole surveys and field inspections
