Job Summary
The Work-Based Learning Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Corporate Education and Training. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting work-based learning at Rockingham Community College through opportunities including, but not limited to: college and employer sponsored apprenticeship and internship programs, job shadowing, and work-based learning course development and oversight. Areas of focus will include program administration, data collection, and student support. This position will promote college sponsored apprenticeships and internships as educational strategies to enhance CTE programs of study, develop partnerships and pipelines with related industry and community partners, and sharpen employability skills of students. This position will also be charged with investigating the integration of CTE career education courses as a pre-requisite to internship and apprenticeship opportunities.
